Welcome to My Gardening Blog!

As an Illinois Master Gardener, I have a passion for life-long learning and watching things grow. This blog site was created for an English class project where I opted to share my final project in a blog format instead of writing a lengthy academic paper.

While I personally do not read blogs and have never created or posted a blog before, creating this blog site has been a lot of fun. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’ve learned to appreciate the ease of use and visual harmony in a well-created website. I’ve spent time researching and writing, all while learning the ins and outs of creating, editing, and sharing a blog site using WordPress.

I hope you enjoy the content and discover something interesting that stimulates your creativity, excites you to try something new, and pushes you outside your bubble. I challenge you to learn, do, volunteer, learn from the generation ahead of you, and teach others in your community to build confidence in the next generation of gardeners!
